Playing/Coaching Experience: Elijer was a four-year letter winner as a cornerback in football at Western Carolina University and captain his senior year. Following his playing career, Elijer coached at several high schools across the state of Georgia, and spent one year coaching at the collegiate level. Martinez lettered in football, and track at Cartersville High School. As a senior in 2009, he was team captain that year, he was also named the team's best defensive back. 

Education: M.A. in Teaching, Physical Education, University of the Cumberlands; B.S in Entrepreneurship, Western Carolina

Family: Married to Kylie Martinez, they have one daughter, Aria Rose.
