Playing/Coaching Experience: Coach Stearns began playing in Hingham, Massachusetts and was named Boston Globe All-Star, Boston Herald All-Star, Patriot Ledger All-Star, made New England National Team and MVP. She was recruited to play for D1 school, Lehigh University where she was named the Patriot League All-Star for 3 years, made the Mid-Atlantic National Team, and was named Best Midfielder. She then went on to play for Scotland's National Team after graduating. Coach Stearns' first coaching job was in Edinburgh, Scotland where she coached at a private boarding school and developed U17 and U19 National Teams. She won a Massachusetts State championship as a coach for Norwell High School and also coached at the collegiate level at Northern Vermont University. She also served as Director for the Boston Aces club team.
