Years at Mount Pisgah: 14 years

 

Playing/Coaching Experience: Emmett is a USA Wrestling Bronze-level and GHSA certified coach who wrestled for Pete Peden at Whites Creek High School and also trained with MTSU Hall of Fame coach Tony Rowland Sr.  He earned a Freestyle State Championship, placed top 4 at the Southeastern Regional, and competed at Junior Nationals. He appeared in the TSSAA Wrestling Championship his junior and senior years of high school and went on to wrestle in college at DePauw University, though his wrestling career ended when the college ended its program.

 

Education: Graduated from DePauw University.

 

Family: He and his wife, Keisha Childress, have three daughters who attend Mount Pisgah - Megan, Maddy, and Emily.
